Campdoc.com is a reputable and trusted site that handles registrations for hundreds of camps all around the world. It is part of the American Camp Association and is the leading registration site & electronic health record system for camps. We have chosen them to provide a great deal of assurance to our clients that all payments and personal information is completely safe using their secured website.

Please e-mail us with any questions you may have at contact@runningabroad.org

What you will find under the online registration on Campdoc.com as your first step:

  • Contact information

  • While full payment isn't due until 4 weeks before the start of the camp, you have to pay the full balance by April 15th 2018 to be able to get the early bird discount. Please reach out to us to get your discount code!

  • Discount: If you are an early bird, you will get a $150 discount. Please reach out to us at Julien@runningabroad.org to get the discount code!

  • Cancellation & Medical insurance option (Check it out here). You can add this at a later date and skip it for now should you choose. We strongly suggest getting a medical travel insurance to cover any medical expenses you may incur while in France (see travel/medical insurance section below).

  • Down payment of $150 to be able to hold your spot in one camp.

*Someone will contact you within 48 hours of registration to discuss next steps and answer any questions you may have.

Once the eligibility of the camper is verified and the down payment is made, we will ask you for the following additional information:

  • Signature of Waivers and Releases

  • Dietary requirements/restrictions

  • Allergies

  • Any medications needed - dosage and way of administration

  • Health or special accommodation requirements

  • Medical History, including any conditions or symptoms of which we must be made aware

Other Important Information:

Travel/Medical Insurance: While the cost of health care in France is very low, we strongly suggest subscribing to a travel medical insurance. Our partner, Campdoc.com, offers a medical/cancellation insurance that can be purchased during registration, but if their insurance doesn't fit your needs, you can check with your current provider or go online to look for other options. For insurance purposes, please note that you will be traveling to 3 countries during Camp (France, Spain and Andorra- Only for a few hours within a few miles of the border for both). You will find in the waiver that we cannot be held liable or responsible for any medical costs incurred during the trip.

Traveling to Toulouse: If you are worried about your child flying alone to Toulouse, you have a few options. 1) Contact us to see if any other campers are leaving from the same city, or if they can connect on a layover. 2) Contact your airline and ask about options for "unaccompanied minors" - this service is available for teenagers ages 14-18 with most carriers. Please note it is YOUR RESPONSABILITY to get your child to the Toulouse Airport, so please check they have all paperwork needed to get there. We cannot be responsible for anything happening before your child gets to the Toulouse Airport.
